However, you're using the belt to restrain a seat that is restraining a child, not for direct restraint of an occupant. Twisting any belt for direct restraint is a no-go, as you turn that webbing into a rope instead of a wide-surface area strap. We had to twist the seatbelt stalk a number of times to make it shorter so the buckle would be in an acceptable position per the Britax manual(and to help get it tight). Is this okay? Is there a limit to how many times you can twist the stalk? The belt itself has no twists in it.
