WebPurpose: A 73 year old lady with polymyalgia rheumatica presented with a month's history of right hip and thigh pain and stiffness. She had had intermittent diarrhoea with no bleeding or mucus. Examination revealed reduced right hip and knee flexion only. She was apyrexial with elevated white cell count and inflammatory markers.
