Unfortunately, despite its celebrity the carrier relied heavily on a commodity which precipitously declined after World War II. WebPRR 1187 is one of two locomotives at the museum carrying that number. The other is Reading 0-4-0 1187. This 1187 was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad in its Altoona Shops in 1888.
