Smart carb metering rod change
WebDec 20, 2024 · Anyone else here running a Smart Carb on their bike? If so how has your experience been and what is your metering rod/settings. I am running one on my 18 XC300 and right off idle and 1/2 throttle and above the bike absolutely rips. I love the added torque and power delivery but between 1/4 and 1/3 throttle it seems to load up and isn't smooth. I know the metering rod is 'the secret' to the Lectron and the Smart Carb. Instead of pilot jets, slow air jets, needles, emulsion tubes, main air jets and main jets, you have bunches of metering rods.
